Below are the methods in which we have tested and recommend to get our content into your Signagelive playlist loop.

- Media RSS

- HTML

- Direct URL

Media RSS - Once logged into your Signagelive account, click on Content > Playlists > Create/Edit.

From the menu on the left, then select RSS/MRSS Feed.

You will be presented with a pop up menu in which you will need to name the asset and enter the feed URL. The default protocol is http, however if your network and IT department requires SSL please change this from the dropdown menu.

Once complete, you can click on the new Media Asset Properties in which you will see that the default Duration is 10 seconds. However, in the feed URL you will see that the duration we set by default of 15 seconds.

In order to change this value, simply add the newly created media asset to a playlist. Once in a playlist, you will have the opportunity to change the duration. You can either Play to the duration set in the Media RSS Feed or you can select the option to Play to the duration I have set below, in which case you can change the value manually.

HTML - If using HTML as your delivery method start from your account Dashboard and click on Content > Playlists > Create/Edit.

You will be presented with a pop up menu in which you will need to name the asset and enter the feed URL. The default protocol is http, however if your network and IT department requires SSL please change this from the dropdown menu.

Once complete, you can click on the new Media Asset Properties and toggle to the Duration tab in which you will see that the default Duration is 10 seconds. Change it as needed.
