The most requested feature we’ve received since Connect’s launch in June is finally here: Integration functionality with Outlook Calendars!
We are thrilled to announce this exciting new feature for Connect. This means Microsoft Excel Workbooks and Outlook calendars can now be used as a data source.
When you visit the Connections page or make a new connection in any of the widgets in App Builder, you will now see the option for Microsoft Calendar or Excel Workbook:
Calendars continue to be some of Connect’s most popular use cases with options to display a 1-day view, 1-week view, 2-week view, 1-event view or daily schedule views.
A wealth of organizational data is commonly stored in Microsoft Excel Workbooks. This data can be useful for displaying team performance metrics, new members, sales numbers, directories, inspirational messages and so much more. Whether you use Microsoft 365, OneDrive or Sharepoint - that data can now easily be tapped to power content on your digital screens.
Connect already integrates with Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Excel sheets or other data file uploads, Microsoft Calendar, JSON, XML, URL connection or Zapier connections. Direct integrations with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams will be coming in the future.
